Who we are:
We are a team of business, tech and marketing specialists based in Cork, Ireland. We have been fine-tuning business ideas into successful, sustainable businesses since 2006. And we've got the track record to prove it.
We pride ourselves on learning from each one of our previous wrong turns and making sure we don't make them twice. At heart, we're tech nerds with business brains. We'll geek out on anything digital, if it can be thrown into the marketing mix then all the better!
The only time you'll find us wearing suits is at a wedding, even then it's leaning towards casual. We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we take business and all that comes with it very much so. Efficiency is our main weapon, we've taken on huge corporations head-on in the SEO and marketing world and come out on top.
We love supporting great businesses by providing angel investment, and guidance too. We also form joint ventures with start-ups and established businesses—we let you look after the bits you love while we take care of everything else.

Meet the Team
Phil Teare
Founder of SquareFish. Full-on business nerd. Entrepreneurship makes him jump out of bed. Efficiency obsessive. Loves great code and a great spreadsheet in equal measure.
Mojtaba Montazery
Mojtaba joined the SquareFish team in 2015. He’s got a Ph.D. from UCC in computer science and has been making software applications since 2006. A critical thinker who loves analysing, solving IT problems, and of course coding.
Ben Brouder
Ben studied Law in his native Brittany (France), before starting his career in the Hospitality & Catering industry in France and Ireland. His passions include; language, writing, and people. Ben specialises in translation, digital marketing and business support.
Samira Abdollahipour
Having finished her B.Sc. in Computer Science and gaining experience with a number of top software companies, Samira joined the SquareFish team in 2022. Her main passions include learning and developing, both in life and in programming!
Kelly Preston
After studying Creative Digital Media at CIT, and taking a brief hiatus abroad, Kelly joined SquareFish in 2021. With a background in non-profit fundraising and volunteer engagement, she brings her unique skills and perspective to her research and outreach role.
Dan Pressley
SEO and digital marketing guru. Copywriting sensei/ninja. PhD-level nerd. Dan has been geeking-out about building websites and getting them to the top of Google since way back in 2012.
Daniel Derakhshani
Daniel joined the SquareFish team in 2021. His passion for software development dates back to his high school days in his native Iran. At uni, he went on to earn an M.Sc. in software engineering. Creating apps that make people’s lives easier is his driving force.
James Walsh
Part of the SquareFish team since 2014. James’ main areas of focus include copywriting, coding and photography. He joined SquareFish after studying hotel management, digital marketing and film-making in a past life.
Eileen Weadick
Since early 2022, Eileen has worked with SquareFish to develop new businesses from start - finish. Although she has a PhD in experimental physics, Eileen's true passion lies in entrepreneurship and social enterprises.
Muhammad Khansari
Muhammad joined SquareFish In 2022, as a full-stack developer. He started his programming adventure at the age of fourteen and has a passion for solving problems and dealing with challenges.
